Al's EduDirectory (edudirectory.school) is owned and operated by K4 Consulting Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16108379). The platform is curated by Al Kingsley MBE and provides education intelligence across several interconnected sections: a global school directory (3.88 million+ records), world education statistics (215 countries), research articles, education jobs, books, podcasts, newsletters, events and CPD, EdTech vendors, a consultants directory, procurement and contract intelligence, funding and grants, and related editorial content.

Bulk Data Access / Export: Systematic extraction of records via scraping, automated querying, or API abuse. This includes scripts, bots, or crawlers that access the schools directory, world education data, or any other structured dataset at scale.
Commercial Redistribution: Incorporating our data into a commercial product, SaaS platform, dataset offering, or report sold to third parties — whether or not the data is modified, augmented, or combined with other sources.
AI Training Datasets Built from Database Contents: Reading, indexing and citing the public pages of this site — including by AI and search crawlers — is welcome and needs no licence. A licence is required to use the underlying database at scale: bulk or systematic extraction of school records, country statistics, or any other structured dataset to build, fine-tune, or evaluate an artificial intelligence or machine learning model, or to assemble a training dataset from substantial portions of the database.
Government and Institutional Contracts: Use of the data by government departments, local authorities, multi-academy trusts, or public bodies for internal policy, procurement, or performance management purposes, where the data shapes operational decisions at institutional scale.
When citing data from Al's EduDirectory in any published work (academic, journalistic, commercial, or otherwise), the attribution should read:

However, the data is provided as-is and without warranty of any kind — express or implied — including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
School records reflect data held in official national registries, open government datasets, and intergovernmental databases. Individual records may be out of date, incomplete, or contain errors in the underlying source. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any individual record.
We accept no liability for any decision made — commercial, educational, legal, or otherwise — in reliance on data from this platform. If you identify an error, please use the "Suggest a Correction" function available on individual records.
By submitting content to Al's EduDirectory (including corrections, suggestions, job listings, book or podcast recommendations, vendor listings, event details, or any other user-submitted content), you grant K4 Consulting Ltd a perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, publish, edit, and display that content on the platform and in associated communications.
You confirm that any submitted content is accurate to the best of your knowledge, does not infringe third-party rights, and is not defamatory, misleading, or unlawful. We reserve the right to reject or remove any submission at our discretion.
The editorial content, design, branding, curation, and software of Al's EduDirectory are the intellectual property of K4 Consulting Ltd and Al Kingsley MBE. Underlying datasets are the property of their respective originating organisations (UNESCO, OECD, DfE, World Bank, etc.) and are used under their respective open data licences, full details of which are on the Data Sources page.

Al's EduDirectory may feature sponsored listings, sponsored newsletter slots, or other paid promotional placements from EdTech suppliers, publishers, and education sector organisations. All sponsored content is clearly labelled as such. Sponsorship does not influence editorial decisions — the research library, school data, and editorial commentary reflect independent curation by Al Kingsley MBE and are not affected by commercial relationships.
Al's EduDirectory links to external websites, datasets, and sources. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or accuracy of third-party sites. Links are provided for reference only and do not constitute endorsement.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from use of this platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
