Visiting Music Teacher of Cello and Double Bass

Summary of the role: A Visiting Music Teacher should work closely with the Head of Music in order to promote Music throughout the School community and create the framework within which pupils can actively engage in music at all levels and in a variety of forms. We are seeking a well-qualified and inspiring musician to teach Cello and Double Bass within this exclusive and forward-thinking department. The post is currently for half a day a week during term time, but is likely to expand throughout the year. The role involves providing individual, paired and group instrumental tuition. Additionally, there may be the opportunity to run a string ensemble. The candidate will be organised, enthusiastic, motivated and committed to providing the high quality individual education offered by our award winning School.
