University and Careers Adviser
Kings’ School Nad Al Sheba Secondary is seeking to appoint a highly skilled University and Careers Adviser with experience of working with students in an international school setting.
You will join a dynamic and passionate team and will be responsible for providing an exceptional education to some of the most ambitious students in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities
Provide careers guidance and support to students and parents on pathways, higher education and future career opportunities.
Support students with university applications, including personal statements, references and admissions processes.
Organise careers-related events, university visits, guest speakers and higher education evenings.
Deliver one-to-one guidance interviews, small group sessions and presentations.
Maintain accurate records of student applications, offers, destinations and progression data.
Build and maintain relationships with universities, employers and external organisations.
Support the delivery of a careers programme aligned to the Gatsby Benchmarks.
Contribute to the development of careers education across the whole school.
We are looking for someone who is:
Essential:
Qualified in Careers Guidance or holds a relevant degree qualification.
An excellent communicator with strong organisational and ICT skills.
Able to build positive relationships with students, parents and external partners.
Proactive, flexible and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Committed to supporting students in making informed decisions about their future pathways.
Resident in Dubai.
Desirable:
Experience in careers guidance, university counselling or a similar educational setting.
Knowledge of UK and international university admissions processes.
Experience organising careers events and employer engagement opportunities.
Passionate about education and student success.
The ability to speak Arabic
