Teacher of Technology

We are looking for a enthusiastic, forward thinking, dynamic and resilient teacher who, working in collaboration with the Leadership Team, will provide high quality teaching to help take the department to the next level. You will be a natural inspirer, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues. It is crucial that you have a great understanding of the latest educational landscape and how to achieve success within these parameters. This is an exciting stage for the department as we have made many changes across the school over recent years and there has been a considerable amount of investment to the DT department with a brand new RM workshop. Our DT department benefits from small practical teaching groups, creating a safe, calm and supportive workshop environment. This allows teachers to provide individual guidance, develop practical skills effectively, and ensure students receive the support they need to succeed. The department consists of a 'family' of wonderful professionals who have an internal reputation of being ’energetic, close, and supportive'. You will have the advantage of being part of the awesome support and caring network that this generates – the word 'family' resonates through our Academy and Department.
