Bacon’s has long been an important part of the fabric of the local community in South East London and has served the community in its various forms for over three hundred years. We do not apologise for insisting that all students behave well and work hard. Bacon’s achievements were recognised by Ofsted in June 2022 when we received a grading of ‘Good’ overall and in every area. In 2025 we enjoyed strong GCSE outcomes with 52% of students achieving grade 5+ in English and Maths. Our VI form results were excellent with 65% of A Level grades at A*-B.
