Lavington School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and passionate Teacher of PE. As a member of staff within our Trust, you will contribute to a collaborative working environment and play a key role in supporting the learning and development of all pupils.
This role is suitable for both ECTs. The role involves delivering high‑quality PE teaching that motivates learners, supports inclusion, and promotes positive behaviour and academic progress. You will also take on tutor responsibilities, contributing to students’ pastoral care, PSHE delivery, and the wider life of the school community. In return, the school offers a comprehensive CPD programme and opportunities for career development within EQUA Mead Learning Trust. Assess, track, and report on student progress, using data to inform teaching and support underachievement. Contribute positively to departmental planning, quality assurance, curriculum development, and wider school activities, including events and liaison. Engage fully in professional development, appraisal, and collaborative working to support continuous improvement.
