About this role

Contract: Permanent, full-time. Salary Range: in the region of £39,555 to £47,472 plus SEN 1 (£2,786), dependent on experience. We are now seeking a skilled, enthusiastic and innovative Teacher of Computing and Creative Technologies to deliver high‑quality teaching across Key Stages 2 to 4. It is an exciting time to join St Edward’s School as our pupil numbers continue to grow and we expand beyond our main site at Melchet Court. The role will involve working across our main site (SO51 6ZR) and an additional Hub in Hampshire within a reasonable commuting distance. The Role As a Teacher of Computing and Creative Technologies, you will: · Deliver engaging, ambitious and inclusive lessons in computing and creative technologies across Key Stages 2 to 4. · Design and implement a broad curriculum including coding, robotics, E-Sports, digital media and computational thinking. · Promote digital literacy, online safety and responsible digital citizenship as part of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing. · Act as Online Safety Lead, working with the Safeguarding Team to embed safe digital practices across the school. · Contribute to the school’s digital strategy and promote innovative uses of technology in teaching and learning. · Support enrichment opportunities such as STEM clubs, robotics, e-sports or creative digital projects. · Establish positive, trusting relationships with pupils, using consistent and trauma‑informed approaches to support behaviour and engagement. · Contribute to a collaborative team environment, working closely wi
