Design engaging learning experiences that promote inquiry, creativity, collaboration, communication, critical thinking and student agency. Utilize educational technology effectively to enhance student engagement, collaboration, assessment and personalized learning. Maintain ongoing teaching of assigned daily/weekly time-tabled classes, with the addition of coverage classes and non-teaching duties when scheduled and required. Ensure regular attendance and timely arrival at school and full attendance within the school’s operating hours. Attend other scheduled school activities such as assemblies, workshops, seminars and meetings as required in fulfilment of school and ministerial requirements. Support and protect all aspects of students' social, emotional, and cognitive learning. Maintain a high standard of class/student management to facilitate a conducive teaching and learning environment. Always assist with school transitions. Actively uphold all safeguarding and child protection policies. Follow up on and maintain a proper record of student attendance data, student work, including daily work, quizzes, tests and examinations. Analyze student performance data, MAP Growth, formative, benchmark and summative assessment data to identify trends, plan interventions and accelerate student progress. Identify students who are struggling in a subject and advise the academic coordinator of such underachievement. Work in conjunction with the Academic Coordinator and parents in devising a strategy or individual education plan of needed support for the struggling student. Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs), Student Support Plans and enrichment pathways where needed. Prepare, create and maintain proper assessment and evaluation records for students to aid in the development of final student results in all areas of performance. Maintain professional educator standards in all interactions with other staff, school parents and stakeholders and show continued respect
