Mathematics Teacher (Secondary School) - required August 2027 (An earlier start date may be negotiated)
DBIS seeks to appoint an enthusiastic, qualified, and successful Secondary School Mathematics teacher who is willing to commit to working in a stimulating and dynamic international educational environment.
This is an exciting time to join DBIS. Our Secondary phase and Mathematics department are rapidly expanding, offering excellent opportunities for professional growth and development within the school. Due to this ongoing expansion, we are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team full-time.
Note on Start Date: While this position is primarily advertised to start at the beginning of the new academic year in August 2027, we are highly flexible and are open to negotiating an earlier start date for the ideal candidate.
To be considered, it is essential to have:
A minimum of two years’ experience in a full-time class teaching role;
A bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree in Mathematics or a closely related field;
A relevant postgraduate teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS);
Experience teaching (I)GCSE and A Level Mathematics to a high quality (applications from IB Mathematics teachers will also be accepted).
It is desirable to have:
A master's or postgraduate qualification in a related subject;
Experience working with EAL students (English as an Additional Language);
Experience or interest in being an examiner for (I)GCSE and/or A Level.
All new teachers are offered two-year renewable contracts and a competitive compensation package, with a gratuity of 18.75%, an additional monthly cash allowance, remuneration of school fees for one child and full medical and dental insurance for the employee and spouse.
