Mathematics Teacher (Secondary School) required February - June 2027 (Maternity Cover) (There is a potential opportunity for a full-time role in August 2027) DBIS seeks to appoint an enthusiastic, qualified, and successful Secondary School Mathematics teacher who is willing to commit to working in a stimulating and dynamic international educational environment. This is an exciting time to join DBIS. Our Secondary phase and Mathematics department are expanding, offering opportunities for growth and development within the school. Because of this expansion, we currently have a unique staffing opportunity and welcome applications for: A Maternity Cover position from late February 2027 through the end of the academic year (June 2027). A full-time Maths Teacher role commencing in August 2027 (2-year contract) We are highly flexible and welcome applications from candidates interested only in the short-term maternity cover, as well as those looking to seamlessly transition from the maternity cover into a permanent, full-time position for the new academic year. To be considered, it is essential to have: A minimum of two years’ experience in a full-time class teaching role; A bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree in Mathematics or a closely related field; A relevant postgraduate teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS); Experience teaching (I)GCSE and A Level Mathematics to a high quality (applications from IB Mathematics teachers will also be accepted). It is desirable to have: A master's or postgraduate qualification in a related subject; Experience working with EAL students (English as an Additional Language); Experience or interest in being an examiner for (I)GCSE and/or A Level. All non-temporary teachers are offered two-year renewable contracts and a competitive compensation package, including a gratuity of 18.75%, an additional monthly cash allowance, reimbursement of school fees for one child, and full medical and dental insurance for the employee and spouse.
