Doha Academy is seeking to appoint an experienced and forward-thinking Head of Secondary / Head of Boys to join our Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate will provide strong academic and pastoral leadership, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, behaviour, and student wellbeing across Key Stages 3–5.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Secondary Phase / Boys Section in line with school vision and improvement priorities
Ensure outstanding teaching, learning, curriculum delivery, and assessment practices
Drive student achievement, progress, and effective intervention strategies
Provide strong pastoral leadership, including behaviour, wellbeing, safeguarding, and attendance
Line manage staff performance, development, and professional standards
Contribute to whole-school leadership, accreditation, and school improvement initiatives
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, PGCE/B.Ed., and QTS
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a senior leadership role
Strong understanding of the National Curriculum for England (KS3–KS5)
Experience working in an EAL environment
NPQH and accreditation/inspection experience are desirable
Middle East experience is an advantage
