About this role
SPGS International School Bangkok is seeking a dedicated and passionate Music Teacher to join our founding Junior School and Early Years teams.
For suitable candidates, there may be an opportunity to undertake additional responsibilities within the department, including aspects of curriculum development and leadership of music across the school.
You will be responsible for nurturing and developing the social, emotional and academic skills of our young learners and cultivating a learning environment where every child feels valued, supported and inspired to achieve their best. The roles require a deep understanding of childhood development, excellent communication skills and a willingness to support the ambition, values and breadth of the school community.
The Music Teacher inspires a love of music across Early Years, Key Stage1 and Key Stage 2. They plan and deliver engaging lessons that build students’ confidence, creativity and musical ability through singing, instrumental work, composition and listening. Working collaboratively with the Head of Junior School Music, they enrich the wider school community through assemblies, musicals and co-curricular activities, ensuring every child experiences the joy and discipline of music.
