Job scope:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with:
CEFR-based EAP curriculum (Levels A2 to C1)
Institutional learning outcomes for academic English and IELTS preparation
Develop and implement comprehensive schemes of work that cover academic reading, writing, listening, and speaking, as well as study skills and critical thinking appropriate to each CEFR level.
Create stimulating classroom environments that foster academic language development, learner autonomy, analytical thinking, and effective communication across all stages of the programme.
Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities, including the integration of technology where appropriate.
Guide students through academic English skill development, adapting approaches to suit the level:
Build foundational academic language and skills at lower CEFR levels (A2–B1)
Develop competence in academic writing, source use, and seminar skills at intermediate levels (B1+–B2)
Foster independent critical thinking, research skills, and IELTS readiness at advanced le
