About this role
As a Primary Class Teacher, you’ll have the rewarding opportunity to support a small Key Stage 2 class of seven pupils aged 5–7, each bringing their own unique strengths, personalities, and ways of communicating. Some pupils use verbal language, while others express themselves through a range of communication methods such as PECs cards, sounds, and gestures—so every voice is valued and supported.
The curriculum is play-based, engaging, and tailored to nurture each child’s development. You’ll help pupils build confidence in communication, social interaction, physical development, independence, and early literacy and numeracy skills. The class follows the Read Write Inc. phonics programme, and Attention Autism is a key and exciting part of daily learning.
We’re looking for someone who can bring creativity, warmth, and a sense of fun, while also providing the structure and consistency that helps every child thrive.
In this role, you’ll also lead a dedicated team of teaching assistants, working collaboratively to create a positive and supportive classroom environment.
You’ll have access to a range of specialist facilities including a therapy pool, sensory rooms, dance and movement spaces, basketball and football court giving you the chance to design truly inspiring and inclusive learning experiences.
