About this role
Sherborne Girls is looking for an enthusiastic and imaginative Art and Design Technician to join our vibrant creative team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a dynamic department where creativity is at the heart of school life, helping pupils bring their ideas to life across a range of artistic disciplines.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting both pupils and teaching staff across Fine Art, Textiles and Photography. You will help bring creativity to life by preparing materials, maintaining studio spaces, supporting exhibitions, and assisting students with their practical work.
Based primarily at Sherborne Girls, you will also contribute to initiatives across the wider Sherborne Schools Group, supporting collaboration and the continued development of our schools.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and confident managing materials, equipment and stock. You will take pride in maintaining safe, inspiring studio environments and supporting the presentation of student work through exhibitions and displays.
This is a part-time role (23 hours per week) with flexible working patterns across the week. Occasional flexibility will be required to support key events and departmental activities.
If you have a passion for the arts, strong organisational skills, and enjoy working in a creative educational environment, we would love to hear from you.
