About this role
Required Year 2 Class Teacher
To start in August 2026
Ardingly Astana opened its doors to its first intake of pupils in September 2024. In its first year of operation, the school catered to primary school pupils in years 1 to 6. School has now opened the first phase of its secondary school (Years 7-9).
We are preparing to expand our school to a two-form entry and move into our purpose-built school in August 2026. We are now seeking high-calibre candidates with the experience, energy, and enthusiasm to thrive as members of our expanding team. All teachers at Ardingly Astana will be responsible for developing and maintaining a warm, nurturing environment where pupils will develop a lifelong passion for learning and acquire key learning skills both inside and outside the classroom.
The successful candidate will join a team of committed and enthusiastic teachers who will lead the way in inspirational teaching and follow best teaching practices commensurate with Ardingly's standards, establishing the school amongst the very best international schools both locally and regionally.
Our mission is for every child to lead an enjoyable, fulfilling life; to make the most of their talents at school; and to be ready for the world beyond. At the heart of an Ardingly education is the assurance that every child is known, valued and encouraged. Every child has a unique character, a unique range of abilities and a unique contribution to make. We believe our purpose is to understand and develop their character, enhance their abilities, encourage and recognise their contributions, and foster the values, personal qualities, and skills they will need to thrive in the world beyond Ardingly.
Applications should be made on the TES application portal.
Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete the Ardingly application form with the names and contact details of two professional referees (to include your current or most recent head teacher if you have been employed in a school).
