Social Studies Teacher (Geography)

We wish to hire a dedicated and qualified full-time Secondary School Teacher (m/f/d) with experience in teaching Social Studien with a focus on Geography to join our dynamic educational institution. The teacher is expected to create and deliver engaging lessons that captivate students' interest and foster a deep understanding of the core concepts. This encompasses not only conveying theoretical knowledge but also applying innovative teaching methodologies to cultivate critical thinking skills and real-world applicability. Qualifications & Experience: The candidate should · experience teaching GCSE and IBDP or A-Level curricula is considered an advantage · have excellent subject knowledge · A good understanding of personalised feedback and assessment · have a passion for developing the whole child in a supportive and enriched classroom environment · have a proven track record of excellent classroom and pedagogical practice and can demonstrate a positive impact in the classroom · be committed to delivering the highest standards in teaching and learning · be inspirational with high expectations of pupil attainment, behaviour and well-being · be willing to work collaboratively within the team and engage positively across departments · be willing to arrange and support field trips, in relation to Geography fieldwork · show interest in volunteering for extra-curricular activities Candidates must hold a PGCE, B.Ed, M.Ed or other suitable education qualification.
