Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Welfare Lead to join our pastoral team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting student wellbeing, safeguarding, and promoting positive mental health across the college community. This position requires at least 2 years of experience in welfare or pastoral care roles within an educational setting.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in pastoral care, welfare support, or related roles
- Strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build trusting relationships with students, staff, and parents
- Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of mental health issues affecting young people is desirable.
