Vice Principal - Quality of Education

We are seeking to appoint a Vice Principal for Quality of Education. This pivotal role will provide strategic leadership for the design, implementation and continual improvement of the academy's educational provision. Working through the principles outlined within the DACA Playbook, the postholder will ensure that every student experiences ambitious curriculum thinking, expert teaching and effective assessment that enables them to know more, remember more and achieve more. The Vice Principal will lead the academy's approach to curriculum, teaching, assessment, professional development and standards, ensuring these elements operate as a coherent and aligned system. They will line manage key leaders responsible for curriculum, assessment and professional development and will establish a culture of continual improvement through evidence-informed practice, instructional coaching and rigorous quality assurance. As the academy's Ofsted Lead, the postholder will maintain strategic oversight of school self-evaluation, inspection readiness and quality assurance systems, ensuring leaders at all levels understand and contribute to the academy's improvement priorities.
