About this role

Trust Attendance Lead

Unity Schools Partnership Trust Office (Working with our schools across East Anglia and north-east London) (hybrid with regular attendance at Trust offices and travel to schools as required)

Contract: permanent, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

Salary: Grade 7 SP 30-35, (£47,643 - £53,182 per annum).

Job Start: As soon as possible

Annual leave: 24 days holiday rising to 29 days holiday after 5 years’ service plus bank holidays

Play a key role in improving attendance and transforming outcomes for pupils Unity Schools Partnership (40 primary, secondary and special schools across East Anglia and north-east London) is seeking a highly organised, resilient and child-centred Trust Attendance Lead to support schools in improving attendance, reducing persistent absence and ensuring every pupil is well-supported to attend, achieve and thrive.

This role sits at the heart of our work to ensure every child attends regularly and feels ready to learn.

You will work across the Trust and with schools to strengthen attendance systems, provide expert advice and disseminate effective practice, balancing support and challenge to secure positive outcomes for pupils and families.

  • experience of working with schools and leaders, alongside strong organisational and analytical skills;
  • sound judgement, resilience and the ability to build effective relationships while maintaining professional challenge;
  • a strong understanding of attendance practice, national policy, safeguarding and multi-agency working;
  • professional judgement, discretion and a real commitment to confidentiality and safeguarding;
  • a commitment to inclusion, equality and our values of integrity, inclusion and kindness;
  • skill in building and maintaining positive relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
