Strong industryexpertise– at least 3 years’ practical experience in the relevant business area, with the occupational knowledge and qualifications to support apprentice development.

A commitment to learner success– able to set challenging but achievable targets, motivate apprentices and provide effective support to help them achieve.

Teaching and assessment capability– an assessing or teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one.

Confident digital skills– comfortable using IT and online portfolio systems to support learning,assessmentand progress.

Excellent communication skills– able to build positive, professional relationships with apprentices,employersand colleagues.

Organised and proactive– able to use your initiative, work collaboratively and represent Yeovil College professionally.
