The Head of International Programmes (Cambridge Curriculum)

Head of International Programme Job Description Working Location: Him Lam International School, Him Lam Green Park, Võ Cường, Bac Ninh. Responsibilities Academic leadership, management and implementation for our Cambridge & foreign language curricula. Act as the educational leader for the corresponding area, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of members related to Cambridge & foreign language curricula. Evaluate the efficacy of relevant faculty members to meet the standards of the school, and external partners, through regular quality assurance checks of planning, teaching and learning. Participate in the observation of relevant instructional and non-instructional staff to inform professional development needs and to review and evaluate the academic programmes of study. Maintain regular interaction with internal departments and external agencies in programme management. Assign and allocate personnel to specialised tasks, and assign covers when necessary. Approve teaching plans of teachers by week, month and term according to the direction of the Principals and Board of Directors. Monitor and supervise the quality of curriculum implementation. Ensure direct collaboration and harmony with school leaders and teachers. Maintain regular interaction with internal departments and external agencies in curriculum management. Inform the school principals and Board of Director all updates from Cambridge Assessment International Education Curriculum Development Participate, with the Curriculum Department, in developing new curricula to align with the School’s and Company’s vision and mission. Feedback to the Principals and Board of Directors on the implementation, modifications and upgrades of the curricula, especially in regard to Cambridge subjects. Research and propose new trending teaching and learning methods to suit the different student age groups.
