Teaching Assistant (x2 vacancies)

We are looking to recruit 2 qualified TAs. The successful candidates will be deployed to work in year groups supporting learning. In the first instance, they will be in the EYFS and KS2 but this can change each year. Who are we? Manchester Communication Primary Academy is an inclusive 2 form entry primary school in Harpurhey. We value the principles of nurture and see behaviour as a form of communication. The school has a vibrant and inclusive environment; parents are well engaged, staff and children enjoy working and learning at the school. Teachers at the school are well supported; we us a range of carefully chosen schemes of learning to support our planning, which we adapt to meet the needs of our pupils. Who are we looking for? We are looking for colleagues who will be able to support our children to achieve their best, by nurturing them, supporting their learning, leading small groups and stepping-in for the teacher as needed. You will also show them love with clear boundaries and consistency. You will need to see behaviour as a form of communication, and understand that for some of the children you are working with, it is an indicator of more support being needed. We are particularly interested to hear from colleagues with experience in the early years, and/or specialist settings. When does the role start?
