Teaching Assistant

Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday 08:30 – 16:30 - Term Time Only The young people we educate and care for come to us with a huge variety of needs and difficulties. Our challenge is to help them build the hope, confidence, knowledge and skills to unlock their potential. Bletchley Park is a 38 week specialist school providing quality therapeutic care and education for young people with Autism, challenging behaviour, communication difficulties and complex needs. The children and young people that attend school range between the ages of 7 - 19 years. As a Teaching Assistant you will need to have a passion for working with young people and want to make a difference in their lives. You will be a highly motivated, well organised and resourceful individual who can demonstrate flexibility and good communication skills. You will be patient and energetic but also have a genuine concern to improve the quality of life for the young people in our care. The ideal candidate would have experience and knowledge of learning disabilities and/or special needs. Experience of working with young people on the autistic spectrum would also be preferred.
