About this role
30 hours per week, Term Time Only (39 weeks), 1 INSET Day
Monday to Friday: 8.15am – 3.00pm
8.15am – 4.15pm x1 day (1 hour training from 3.15pm)
8.15am – 3.40pm x1 day (40min intervention from 3.00pm)
Includes unpaid breaks in line with school – 1hour 5min (break and lunch)
Scale 3 point 6 - £20,760pa (actual)

We are currently looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and proactive Teaching Assistant to join our team. This is a rewarding role supporting students in their learning and development, both in and out of the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
Support teaching staff in delivering high-quality learning across a range of subjects
Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce learning and promote progress
Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources
Promote positive behaviour and provide emotional and social support to students
Contribute to the wider life of the school and support activities such as trips, events, and enrichment opportunities
We are looking for someone who:
A genuine passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential
Good communication and interpersonal skills
A flexible, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn
Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach
Previous experience working with children (in a school or other setting) is desirable but not essential
A willingness to undertake relevant training, including safeguarding and First Aid
