Due to continued growth, The Rise Sixth Form is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching and Learning Assistants to join our expanding team.We currently have three exciting opportunities available:
TLA to support Science up to and including Level 3
TLA to support Creative subjects (Art, Drama, Music, Animation or Media) up to and including Level 3
TLA to provide general learning support across the sixth form provision

As a Teaching and Learning Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting learners academically, emotionally, and socially. This is a rewarding opportunity to positively impact the lives of extraordinary young people as they prepare for adulthood and further education.
Learners attend lessons at West Thames College and are also supported within the sixth form base. Staff work closely with learners to help them:
prepare for lessons
complete coursework and assignments
develop revision and study skills
improve time management and organisation
build confidence in essay writing and exam preparation
access appropriate exam arrangements and support strategies
