All members of staff at Ashton Sixth Form College are employed by Stamford Park Trust. The college has been recognised as one of the top ten Sixth Form Colleges in the north-west and is a major provider of quality academic and vocational post 16 education. We currently have the following vacancy: Teacher of Social Care (Extended Diploma) and Early Childhood Development (AAQ) Part time 0.8 Fixed term contract for 1 year Sixth Form Colleges’ Pay Grade NSP1 – NSP9 £33,465 - £51,714 per annum pro rata. (Actual salary range £26,772 - £41,371.20) The Education and Health team at ASFC is made up of 11 members of staff, with the team teaching on a range of Education and Health courses. We are looking to recruit an excellent teacher to deliver on our Social Care Extended Diploma and Early Childhood Development AAQ courses. The teacher will be responsible for delivering consistently excellent teaching, learning and assessment to enthusiastic groups of learners. The department is well resourced, with all lessons timetabled in appropriate classrooms to allow the learners to complete their work. In addition to this, learners are given resources such as handouts, detailed instructions on how to complete assignments and there are also PowerPoint presentations relating to each individual lesson. We welcome applications from newly and recently qualified teachers, as well as established teachers with post 16 experience.
