About this role
El Plantio International School of Valencia is a British school for children aged 2–18, located about 15 km from the lively centre of Valencia on the Mediterranean coast. With around 650 students across our primary and secondary departments, we are proud to be an active member of the National Association of British Schools in Spain (NABSS).
We follow the National Curriculum for England alongside the IB Diploma, drawing on over 50 years of experience in delivering high-quality education. As an IGCSE examination centre (via Cambridge Assessment) and an International Baccalaureate World School (most recently inspected in February 2025), we maintain rigorous academic standards. English is our main language of instruction, with key elements of the Spanish curriculum also taught. Our diverse student body represents a wide range of nationalities, and we offer boarding for up to 10 students.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and experienced teacher who can offer geography and science to KS3 from September 2026.
Suitable candidates should:
Hold a recognised teaching qualification.
Have recent experience with the British or international curriculum.
Be prepared to teach across Key Stage 3.
Be willing to work with students of all abilities.
Ideally have knowledge of the IB programme.
Be organised, flexible, and a strong team player.
Have experience as a form tutor or in an another pastoral role.
