Job overviewBruern Abbey Senior School (HP18 9LR) About the Role We seek an enthusiastic and experienced teacher of science to teach pupils in Years 9 - 11 across the ability range for a maternity cover position from January 2027, extending the most able and supporting those who find the subject challenging, in preparation for GCSE. This role will no doubt be a challenging yet highly rewarding position for the right candidate, in a small, friendly school with a great team of teachers. The appointed person will primarily be teaching Physics, but willingness to teach across the sciences and to offer Mathematics is an advantage (though not a prerequisite). Emphasis should be placed on providing a warm, caring environment where pupils are in a position to learn and make significant academic progress. Excellent communication ability with boys, parents and staff is essential.
