We are seeking a Teacher of Physical Education (PE) to join our PE department. This role offers the opportunity to shape the PE curriculum, inspire students, and contribute significantly to their physical development and overall wellbeing.

Skills and Qualifications:
-Good honours graduate with qualified teacher status
-A successful teaching record as either a trainee or experienced teacher
-Experience of teaching at Key Stages Three and Four
-A thorough understanding of a teacher’s role in safeguarding young people
-Strong subject knowledge, including knowledge of the National Curriculum for PE.
-Strong subject knowledge of GCSE PE and/or BTEC Sport Level 2.

This role involves a high level of contact with children and is deemed regulated activity. Successful applications should be considered suitable to work with children and will be expected to undergo an enhanced DBS check, with child barred list, and other checks as part of safer recruitment practices. We will carry out online searches (including social media) to help identify any incidents or issues that are publicly available online and relevant to your suitability to work with children. No member of staff will be able to start until these checks are complete and this process takes, on average, a month.
