Head of Geography - Fixed Term

We are seeking a well-qualified, experienced and dynamic Head of Geography to lead and develop the teaching of this popular and important subject. We pride ourselves on ensuring that the students in our care receive the very best teaching and fieldwork opportunities in each year. Geography is a popular and successful subject at Woldingham. At Key Stage 3 the students study a wide variety of topics including Ghana and development, Antarctica, sustainable housing, tectonic hazards, migration and the geography of retail. The Key Stage 3 course begins with an intensive skills programme to equip the students with the necessary tools for Geographical investigation and analysis. At KS4 we follow the Edexcel IGCSE syllabus and at A Level we follow the AQA syllabus.
