Your Role We are seeking a flexible and dedicated Teacher of Humanities to lead Geography and/or History across the KS3 and KS4 curriculum. The ability to teach both Geography and History up to GCSE level is desirable. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and adaptable teacher who is a confident humanities practitioner, with experience of supporting pupils' academic and personal development. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment. While a full-time appointment covering both subjects is preferred, we welcome applications from part-time candidates and those with strengths in either Geography or History. Successful candidate qualities: Essential: PGCE, QTS, Cert Ed or equivalent teaching qualification and evidence of in-service training. The ability to teach Geography and/or History up to GCSE level Desirable: Experience of working in a college environment, ideally in specialist education. Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Good teaching and communication skills, both written and verbal. Effective skills in planning, preparation, recording and reviewing students' progress. Good IT skills and understand of how IT can be used to support learning.
