We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a passionate and committed Teacher of Girls PE to join our fantastic team at CHS South. CHS South is an 11–16, eight-form entry, mixed comprehensive school which opened in 2018 in conjunction with Chorlton High School. Our state-of-the-art building opened in September 2021 and serves 1200 students. In our first Ofsted inspection in January 2023, we were graded Good in all areas. The Role The post holder is required to fulfil the professional responsibilities common to all classroom teachers, as outlined in the current School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document. The post holder will meet the Professional Standards for Teachers appropriate to their career stage and exercise professional judgement in carrying out their duties collaboratively. The key purpose of the role is to secure high standards of teaching, learning and achievement in Physical Education (PE), ensuring that all students make strong progress and are supported to reach their full potential.
