Teacher of MFL

Cundall Manor School is seeking a talented, committed and enthusiastic Teacher of Spanish and French to join our industrious, visionary and forward thinking Modern Foreign Languages Department for September 2026. Cundall Manor pupils begin to learn French in the Nursery and then both French and Spanish from Year 4. Both languages remain an attractive and popular choice with consistently excellent results at GCSE, and our we are committed to fostering a lifelong appreciation of languages and culture. The post would suit an experienced teacher with very strong subject knowledge at GCSE Level and a demonstrable record of teaching Spanish to Key Stage 4 and French to at least Key Stage 3. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and well qualified with a real love for language and culture along with the ability to convey this to pupils, as well as a natural empathy and pastoral instinct. The ability to motivate and inspire (both students and colleagues) is vital, as is being able to work as part of a strong team. This is an excellent opportunity for an inspiring and experienced language practitioner who is passionate about teaching young people, and who wishes to contribute fully to the academic and wider life of a thriving independent day and boarding school.
