As part of the next stage of the school’s growth, we are seeking to appoint an exceptional Teacher of English to join our Secondary School from August 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a high-performing English department within a school that is determined to establish itself amongst the leading British international schools in the region. The successful candidate will be a well-qualified graduate in English or a closely related discipline, with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for literature and language. They will bring a proven track record of success in teaching the National Curriculum for England, including IGCSE, and ideally A Level, with clear evidence of securing strong examination outcomes. We are looking for a teacher who combines intellectual rigour with clarity of instruction; who can inspire a love of reading, writing and critical thought; and who understands the importance of precise language modelling in an international context. The ability to teach students for whom English is an additional language, without compromising academic standards, is essential.
