TEACHER OF DRAMA Fixed term Required for September 2026 The role is a Fixed Term contract to support the Drama department’s co-curricular provision, promote the student uptake of opportunities, support in their wellbeing and personal development and contribute to our outstanding academic provision.​ ​ This is a fixed-term position for one academic term. While full-time applications are preferred, applications for part-time working (Monday to Thursday) will also be considered.​ ​ The school day runs from 8.30am to 4.00pm. To support the extensive co-curricular programme within this busy department, additional hours will be required after school until 5.30pm, Monday to Thursday. Furthermore, some rehearsals take place at weekends, typically amounting to four to five days during the Michaelmas Term, depending on the production schedule.​ ​ In addition, during production weeks the post holder will support with running backstage, entailing work in the evenings. This is reflected in reduced teaching contact hours compared to a standard teaching timetable. ​ ​ The start date for this position is 01 September 2026 and will conclude on 11 December 2026.​ ​​ Closing deadline: Friday 17 July 2026 Interviews will take place on a rolling basis.
