Clifton College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of Drama & Dance to join our vibrant Performing Arts department from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to work within one of the UK’s leading independent schools, where creativity and performance are central to school life. The successful candidate will deliver engaging Drama lessons across the Upper School while helping to develop and introduce Dance within the curriculum. Working closely with the Head of Drama and the Director of Performing Arts, you will inspire students to explore theatre, movement and performance, supporting them to grow as performers, choreographers and theatre-makers.
The role is offered with flexibility in mind; applications are welcomed from those seeking a role within parameters of the post (0.75 - 1.0 FTE). Drama plays a vital role in the cultural life of Clifton College, with a thriving programme of productions, showcases and performance opportunities throughout the year, including major musicals, plays and festivals. With access to outstanding facilities including the Redgrave Theatre and dedicated studio spaces, you will contribute to both the academic and co-curricular life of the department, supporting productions, rehearsals and creative events.
