Following the increase in student enrolment, further openings for Secondary teachers are available commencing in August 2026. Current position available: Teacher of Design (Computer Science) Job description : Demonstrate the ability to teach IB Diploma Computer Science at both Standard and Higher Levels Experience, enthusiasm and/or knowledge of teaching inquiry- and concept-based learning in Digital Design within the MYP Design framework (IB Middle Years Programme) would be desirable. Experience teaching robotics, especially VEX would be an advantage. Act as a tutor for a year group in Secondary School (Year 7 -13) The Design Faculty at the British School Jakarta is a dynamic, well-resourced hub of creativity, innovation, and technical excellence. Our recently renovated facilities include three fully equipped workshops with brand-new machinery, a dedicated robotics room, and a state-of-the-art 3D printing suite featuring six top-of-the-range Ultimaker printers with material stations housed in a temperature- and humidity-controlled environment. The faculty also benefits from a fully equipped Mac desktop suite and a class set of MacBook Pros, giving students seamless access to industry-standard software and digital design tools. We are supported by two full-time, highly skilled technicians and have a dedicated technician preparation room, ensuring smooth delivery of practical lessons and project work. In addition, our dedicated Computer Science teaching room further strengthens the link between design, engineering, and technology.
