About this role

Malvern College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, talented and inspiring part time Teacher of Dance. This position is to commence in September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate dance professional to shape and develop dance across the College. The successful candidate will deliver curriculum dance within our sports programme, lead and grow our ballet-focused co-curricular provision, provide individual coaching, and choreograph high-quality performances for productions, showcases and school events. We are looking for someone who can inspire a love of dance, nurture talent at all levels, committed to high standards of student development and contribute positively to the wider life of the school. The successful candidate will: Deliver curriculum and co-curricular dance, with a focus on ballet. Provide individual coaching and support students’ progression. Choreograph and direct performances for productions and events. Work collaboratively across the performing arts. Inspire, engage and support students in a positive environment. You will have: A qualification in Dance or Performing Arts. Experience teaching dance and strong ballet expertise. Choreography and performance experience. Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire young people.
