JOB OVERVIEW Fixed term with the possibility of a permanent role from September 2027 An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teacher of Business and Economics to join the BECS Department at Bosworth Independent School. Class sizes are typically small (averaging around eight students), allowing teachers to provide personalised support, ensure deep understanding of key concepts, and foster a classroom environment where students feel confident to ask questions and think critically. Business and Economics are taught through the Pearson examination board at both GCSE (iGCSE) and A Level. The department also delivers a subject-specific University Foundation Programme (UFP) in Business and Economics, with full support provided for teaching staff. Additionally, Business is taught at Year 9 through a bespoke, tailored syllabus.
