We are seeking to appoint a passionate and well-qualified teacher of Physical Education to join the Department from September 2026.
The successful candidate will also teach GCSE PE, both theory and practical, and will be able to engage and inspire students of all abilities both in and out of lessons.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic teacher who is keen to play a proactive and collaborative role in developing the PE department further in the school. This role includes teaching PE lessons in both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, as well as mixed classes (boys & girls) in Key Stage 4. Within the PE Department there is also a requirement to lead after school fixtures in several different sports, as well as coaching a wide variety of different after-school sports clubs three days a week.
In addition, the successful candidate will join the Pastoral Team as a Head of Year, promoting high standards of behaviour and attendance. Working closely with students, staff, parents/carers and external agencies, the successful candidate will provide pastoral leadership and ensure that every student is supported to achieve their full potential. You will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills and a commitment to supporting students in a positive and inclusive learning environment.
