OFSTED rated the school as good with outstanding features in February 2020 and in January 2025, Ofsted returned for an ungraded inspection which highlighted significant improvement in all areas since their last visit. They were so impressed that they will be returning to carry out a full inspection to allow the school to showcase all areas with a graded inspection/report. We are looking to appoint an additional experienced Teacher of English. You will have relevant UK experience; excellent subject knowledge and a passion for your subject and ambition and high standards and expectations. You will join a large, successful, passionate and highly experienced English team. These colleagues are ambitious and are looking for a candidate with both a rigorous interest in the subject and specifically in driving our whole school literacy to a very diverse range of students. Ideally you will be able to teach English to all Key Stages but we will support your current skill set. What we are looking for: A relevant degree from an established university (required) PGCE/QTS or equivalent (required) Excellent working knowledge of the National Curriculum for KS3, KS4 (and KS5) A high level of subject knowledge (ideally but not essential, including A level) The ability to reflect on your own practice and we
