Position: Student Support Services Coordinator (AY 26/27)
The SSS Coordinator is an educational professional with management and leadership experience, specialized in developing and implementing educational support programs that enhance academic, social, and emotional support for students.
The SSS Coordinator manages academic, literacy, language, and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) support programs within the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) framework. Responsibilities include updating the MTSS based on evidence-based practices, monitoring progress, implementing necessary changes and overseeing the onboarding, training, and daily operations of team members, including MLL Specialists, Literacy Specialists, SEL coaches, Counselors, and SSS Assistants.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Special Education, or Early Childhood Education or Secondary Education, or Psychology, or Counseling.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of United States curriculum standards
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders
- Experience managing budgets and resources effectively
