Your new role
We are looking for exceptional people to work with our exceptional learners. As a Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist, you will take on an advanced role within the integrated multidisciplinary therapy team at Wilds Lodge School. Building on your experience, you will provide high-quality speech and language therapy services to children with complex developmental needs, while actively contributing to the development of the speech and language therapy service and team within a supportive educational and therapeutic environment

Essential Requirements
A degree in Speech and Language Therapy
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a qualified Speech and Language Therapist, with at least 1 year in a paediatric or special education setting (desirable)
HCPC and RCSLT membership
Proven ability to independently assess and implement management plans for children with speech and language needs.
Experience working with children and young people with Social, Emotional and Behavioural issues (desirable)

Wilds Lodge School is an independent 38 week specialist boarding and day provision for boys and girls (girls are accepted as day learners only) for learners aged between 5 and 19 with social, emotional and mental health difficulties, set in Empingham, Rutland.
