Specialist Teacher: Mathematics (and Second Subject)

Role Purpose & Key ResponsibilitiesYou will deliver high-quality, practical Mathematics lessons that secure steady progress and formal accreditation for our students. You will play a key role in reducing performance anxiety by embedding maths within motivating, real-world, and vocational contexts. Contextual Numeracy: Use manipulatives, multiple representations, and practical projects to deepen mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills. Second Subject: Offer a second subject, preferably Science, IT, or English, to provide curriculum breadth. Adaptive Teaching: Structure clear lesson sequences with predictable routines, visual task boards, and sensory-friendly workstation designs.
