Working with our Sixth Form students is both a privilege and an exciting opportunity to make a real impact. We are seeking a motivated and proactive Study Skills Coordinator to join our thriving and growing Sixth Form, currently with 270 students. This is a fast-paced and rewarding role, supporting students across Years 12 and 13 as they navigate the academic and personal challenges of Sixth Form life. Most students study three A Levels alongside an enrichment programme, supported by a highly effective Supervised Study model praised by Ofsted.
We are looking for someone who is highly organised and adaptable, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The successful candidate will be committed to raising student achievement and confident in analysing and responding to student performance data. They will also bring enthusiasm, initiative, and a proactive approach to working within a dynamic and fast-paced Sixth Form environment.
Key responsibilities include overseeing and supporting high-quality Supervised Study sessions, as well as delivering engaging study skills sessions covering areas such as revision techniques, essay writing, and independent study. The role involves supporting students both proactively and reactively to enhance their academic performance, alongside conducting 1:1 interventions informed by performance data. The post holder will also contribute to the ongoing development of Sixth Form provision, helping to ensure continued success and improvement.

The post is for 37 hours per week term time only, plus 1-week staff learning days - 39 weeks per year. Hours of work based on 8.30am – 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
