Holme Court Derby SEND Teacher We are looking to appoint SEND Teachers to join Holme Court Derby in October 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced teachers or teachers early in their career to make a real difference working with individuals and small groups of pupils who have additional needs. Holme Court Derby is separate to Derby Grammar School, however will be based on the Derby Grammar School site and will use some of the schools’ facilities. The role is full time. Starting in October 2026, we are seeking dynamic, inspirational, and highly motivated teachers to join us. You will be enthusiastic, experienced in working with pupils with ASC, SEMH and associated conditions such as sensory processing, developmental language disorder and developmental coordination disorder, and well qualified with a good understanding SEND needs. At Holme Court Derby, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing, therapeutic learning environment where every child feels safe, understood, and valued. As an independent specialist school for pupils aged 7–16, we support children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs through a highly individualised, needs-led approach to education. We recognise that every child is unique and that no two pupils present in the same way. Rather than focusing solely on labels or diagnoses, we tailor our provision to each pupil’s strengths, interests, aspirations, and barriers to learning.
