SENCO - ASSISTANT HEADTEACHER Required from September 2026 The Governing Board of Sacred Heart High School wish to appoint an exceptional SENCO to develop our strength as a high performing Catholic School. Sacred Heart High School is an outstanding Catholic School in the trusteeship of the Society of the Sacred Heart, and is part of a network of Sacred Heart schools worldwide. The school was founded in 1893 by the Society of the Sacred Heart and has always sought to promote the education of women and academic excellence. The SENCO must be an outstanding, focused and motivated individual who can lead the pupils to achieve far beyond their own expectations. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership of SEND across the school and ensure the highest quality of provision. Key responsibilities include maintaining compliance with statutory guidance, shaping the SEND curriculum, leading the graduated response, delivering high-impact CPD, modelling outstanding practice, and driving improvements aligned with the Academy Development Plan.
