SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and adaptable SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated Learning Support team. This is a highly rewarding role, providing support to students with a range of special educational needs and helping them to thrive both academically and personally. No two days are the same. You will work alongside teachers across a variety of subjects and year groups, supporting students in lessons, promoting independence, building confidence and helping to remove barriers to learning. You will play a key role in creating an inclusive environment where every student feels valued and supported. The successful candidate will be approachable, patient and positive, with excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues and parents. You will be confident using your initiative, adaptable to changing circumstances and able to respond effectively to the differing needs of students throughout the school day. Strong organisational and IT skills are essential, as is a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a busy and supportive team. Previous experience of working with children or young people, particularly within a secondary school setting, would be advantageous but is not essential.
