Assistant Headteacher - Teaching and Learning

We are looking for an ambitious and highly motivated individual to take on the role of:- Assistant Headteacher - Teaching and Learning L8 - L12 Required for September 2026 As an Academy, we are looking to appoint an Assistant Headteacher responsible for Teaching and Learning. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to lead a key area of a vibrant academy with a dedicated and passionate team of staff. This post would ideally suit either an experienced Assistant Headteacher or aspirational Middle Leader who can inspire and develop staff and students, and create an environment where the whole academy community can thrive and flourish. We are looking for a person who: Is a champion for all students and an advocate for an inclusive and values driven education Has experience, or a good understanding of working in a diverse and challenging community Will promote and sustain our Christian principles and understands the significance of church school values in the education of young people Will champion evidence informed pedagogy, ensuring consistency and excellence in classroom practice Will oversee the academy’s quality assurance of teaching and learning, evaluating the impact of current pedagogy, and ensuring that feedback informs continuous improvement. Will lead and manage the Incremental Coaching programme for all teaching staff. Serves as the ITT/ECT Coordinator, overseeing the statutory induction process, mentoring programmes, and support required for all early career and trainee teachers.
